Special to The Herald Perryville girls basketball coach Amanda Wolfe had one word as to how her team prevailed late over county rival Rising Sun Monday, 47-45, Monday, February 12 - “intensity”. And indeed, intensity was the name of the game. Perryville already had suffered a disadvantage even before the game started - they only had six total players suit up, which left only one player on the bench at all times. “We had girls out of position [the whole game],” said Wolfe. |
